Hey all! BONUS POST TODAY!
As I mentioned yesterday, today is my sister’s birthday! So since today is special I decided to have second post this week.
My sister, Kristen, is always baking. She is always the one that gets that phone call “Hey we are throwing a party can you just whip up some cupcakes?” And this year, I decided to be the one that bakes her an amazing cake, since she always goes out of her way for our family and her husband’s family.
I bought this pan (I think) 2 years ago with my mom, I have never used until Friday. I think the cake was spectacular and, although time and pateince are needed, it was well worth it! It was absolutely delicious and spectacular! Lemon, honey, not too sweet- just right. ONE QUICK TIP: if you would like to try this, try to level it while it is still in the pan. I think I lost a little bit more cake than I had to. See recipe here.

Very cute! Is the pan all one piece? Does it bake evenly? Now I want cake!!!
HAHA! Yes it actually baked very evenly. It’s one pan that has two molds and you have to put it together with buttercream. It’s very yummy!
that cake is absolutely adorable. love it. so clever.
That is quite possibly the cutest cake I’ve ever seen! Great job on it – it’s adorable!
Thank you! It’s a williams & sonoma mold, and the recipe too. Time consuming but totally worth it! It was sooo yummy!
